The Hybrid Alpha Framework
A precisely calibrated allocation combining the income durability of private credit with the exponential upside of frontier technology — designed for institutional capital seeking both stability and alpha.
Cycle-tested income + downside protection
High-conviction asymmetric upside
How the Credit Sleeve Works
Five stages, from origination through repayment. Every loan in the credit sleeve follows the same path.
Source
Deals come to us through King Holdings' existing real estate portfolio and the broker and operator relationships built over years of lending the platform's own capital across the Southeast.
Underwrite
Credit decisions rest with the investment team. Every loan is underwritten against the asset first — borrower track record, current value, and a clearly identified exit path — before terms are set.
Fund
Capital is advanced in a first-lien, senior secured position, typically at conservative loan-to-value levels, so borrower equity absorbs losses before the fund does.
Service
Payments, reporting, and covenant monitoring are handled by the same platform team that originated the loan, keeping the fund close to each asset.
Exit
Loans are repaid through borrower payoff, refinancing, or property sale. If a loan requires resolution, the first-lien position on hard assets defines the path.
What We Lend On
The credit sleeve makes senior secured loans against real assets, in markets the platform already operates in.

The Growth Sleeve
The remaining 20% is allocated to AI and technology ventures — a minority position sized so the fund's income does not depend on it. Positions are selected company by company, concentrated where the team has conviction: AI infrastructure, robotics, and deep technology. Each investment is judged on the durability of the underlying business — real revenue, defensible technology, and experienced operators — rather than on sector momentum. The credit sleeve carries the fund; this sleeve exists to add upside without adding income risk.
Alignment
The fund's principal has capital invested in King Fund III on the same terms as every other investor — same fees, same documents, no preferred treatment. The strategy was run on the platform's own capital before it was opened to outside investors, and the people managing the fund remain invested alongside them.
